I have been thinking a lot about Olive lately and it has almost been a year since we had to turn her over to you guys. It was such a horrible day for our family. Just wanted to say how thankful I am for you guys, for Leslie and for the Pitcrew! Thanks again!

Four years ago I adopted Sollie (she was sunshine) from the Ukiah shelter. Everyday since then has been a happy day because of her! We have so much fun together! I now vulenteer at the animal shelter near my home because of the joy my wonderful companion has brought me! Thank you to all at the shelter who took care of her!

We adopted Charlie (was ralphie of the R litter) a year ago. He is a golden X and the best thing that has happened to us. He is the best of friends with the 2 kittens we recently adopted. We are so happy that we were able to rescue such a precious animal. We are so grateful to all the staff at the shelter for helping us connect with and adopt such a great animal.

We adopted Floyd (was Gus) in December 2005. He’s a wonderful dog who brings us much joy. He is extremely patient with our 1 year old daughter and often sleeps in her room. He is a bed hog & an expert counter-surfer, but those things aside, Floyd is a love and our lives would be empty without him.
Thanks for allowing us to bring him into our home…we are eternally grateful!

We adopted ROOT BEER In April 2010. I wasn’t too keen on having a big dog but I think this guy picked us. We fostered him for a week and by mid week I had bought a bed and many toys. I guess that was it!
He is now called Arby and he so part of our family. He is a RED TICK COONHOUND mix….we think with a GREAT DANE! Super friendly and very good looking.
He is just a super dog , thinks he is a lap dog, all 90 pounds of him.Arby has the best personality, does the best morning stretches with same vocals sounds of SCOOBY DOO!
We love our big guy .

So glad we travelled North to find him, but honestly I think he found us!

Merry Christmas to you all.

Arby is having a much loved Christmas with us this year…..already been looking at the gifts under the tree……i hope he’s not disappointed!

Just wanted to tell you how much we love the two dogs we adopted from the shelter last year! Martha (formerly Cookie, adopted May ’10) is a irresistibly adorable babydoll and such a joyful package of fun! She’s gotten so many compliments on her unique looks too!

Dante (formerly Sebastian, adopted Nov ’10) settled in perfectly with Martha and they are the best of friends. He is SUCH an affectionate lover and can melt anyone’s heart with his big expressive eyes. Everyone who meets him falls in love.

I love them both to death and cannot imagine life without them!
Thank you so much for doing what you do!

when my puppy was a baby, she had kennal cough and bruised ribs. she was very shy and has overcome that as the year went by. sadly, 3 months after her first birthday she was hit by a passing car. she survived but lost her front right leg. because she was very young, Zelda made it through the surgery and went home with no sign of ever being hit. (except for th missing leg)

I think you people at the shelter do a fantastic job; I had to have my 15 year old dog euthinized by my vet, you never stop missing a dog, they are always your best friends. Hopefully I can make it down to the shelter soon; without wanting to take all the animals home.

Today I adopted Carl. What a fabulous match he is for our family! He and our Husky ran around the yard for hours. He is currently sleeping on the floor at the foot of our sons bed! He is truly a prize and well worth the drive from Sonoma County! Thank you so much to everyone at the Ukiah Shelter! :)
